How do I start a breathing session?

From the home screen, browse the available techniques using the carousel. Tap on any technique card to see its details, then tap anywhere on the screen to start the session. Tap again to stop.

Can I create my own breathing technique?

Yes! Go to Settings and tap "Create Custom Technique." You can define custom inhale, hold, exhale, and rest durations to create a pattern that works for you.

Where is my session history stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't collect or store any information on servers. If you uninstall the app, your history will be deleted.

What is box breathing?

Box breathing (also called square breathing) is a technique where you breathe in, hold, breathe out, and hold again - each for equal durations. It's used by Navy SEALs and athletes to reduce stress and improve focus.

What is the 4-7-8 technique?

The 4-7-8 technique involves inhaling for 4 seconds, holding for 7 seconds, and exhaling for 8 seconds. It was developed by Dr. Andrew Weil and is particularly helpful for relaxation and falling asleep.
